Leela Venkata Krishna Kanth Velamuri (Kanth Velamuri) was personally selected by Amma Sri Karunamayi as the SRIM Center priest. He assisted with Karthika Masam programs at Amma’s Manidweepa ashram for an entire month in 2018.

Kanth Garu studied the Krishna Yajur Vedam from 2004 to 2015 at Srimad Bhagavad Bharati Trust in Andhra Pradesh India, along with Apastambiya Smartha Prayogam. Kanth Garu is well trained to perform all temple rituals, pujas, homas, home pujas, Varshikotsavam / temple anniversary programs, abhishekams, and vrathams.

Kanth Garu takes care of Durga Devi and Shirdi Sai Baba mandirs @ the SRIM Center, including arathis, daily programs and special festivals. He conducted the Center’s first Ganesha Navaratri in 2019, a festival that has become an annual offering.
