Vasanta Navaratri is a 9-day Spring festival dedicated to the worship of the Divine Mother /Devi through rituals, prayer, and meditation. The legend behind this festival involves Prince Sudarsana who was facing a stalwart enemy and performed austerities for these 9 days. The Divine Mother, pleased with his unwavering faith and devotion, appeared before him and blessed him with divine weapons and the strength to overcome his adversaries.
