Ratha Sapthami

Surya Narayana Pooja, Tuesday – February 4 @ 11 AM

On Ratha Saptami, we worship Lord Surya, the Sun God and celebrate his journey towards the North as we await the arrival of Spring. This day also celebrates the birth of Lord Surya who rides in a chariot (Ratha) driven by 7 (sapta) horses. The weeks and months following this time are considered auspicious for spiritual practices.

Benefits: By honoring Lord Surya and fasting on this day, one can remove negative karma and gain both confidence and energy.

Rudrabhishekam

Mondays & Thursdays – February 3, 6, 10, 13, 17, 20, 24, 27 (27th is part of Maha Shivaratri) @ 6:30 PM

Dedicated to Lord Shiva, Rudrabhishekam is an ancient ceremonial bathing of a Shiva Lingam with water, milk, honey etc. while chanting the Rudram. The various herbs and offerings used in the ritual nourish the soil, supporting plant growth and ecological balance. On Mondays Kanth Garu performs Rudrabhishekam to the Shiva Lingam and to the Utsava murti of Shirdi Sai Baba on Thursdays.

Benefits: This practice purifies the mind, body and soul, fostering peace, wellbeing and prosperity for people, animals, plants, and the environment. It is also said to remove/reduce negative karma.

Virtual Satsang

Second Saturday of the Month, Saturday, February 8 at 11:00 AM

Satsang means to be in the company of the truth and from time immemorial, spiritual seekers have gathered together to perform spiritual practices to advance their sadhana.
