 Diwali, or Deepawali, is an important festival that derives its name from the words availi, row of clay lamps, deepa, that symbolizes the inner light that protects from spiritual darkness. Performing Mama Lakshmi Pooja on Diwali is believed to invite prosperity, financial growth, and overall well-being into one’s life, while also removing obstacles and fostering harmony at home. The ritual strengthens spiritual connections and upholds cultural traditions, enhancing both personal and familial bonds. At 6:30 PM on the main day of this joyous festival of lights, Kanth Garu will perform a Maha Lakshmi Pooja followed by Deepa Seva to Devi.
