Significance
- Remover of Obstacles: Honors Ganesha as Vighnaharta, who clears life paths and brings good fortune.
- Divine Symbolism: The elephant head represents wisdom, large ears signify attentive listening, and the mouse vehicle denotes humility.
Spiritual Meaning of Visarjan
- Return to the Divine: It marks Lord Ganesha’s journey back to his celestial home on Mount Kailash after visiting his devotees.
- Impermanence of Life: The dissolving clay idol reminds people that all physical forms are temporary and eventually return to the primal elements of nature.
- Taking Away Troubles: Devotees believe Ganesha takes away their obstacles, suffering, and negative energies as he departs, leaving behind blessings of wisdom and peace.
