Lord Shiva is well-known by the name of Rudra. In the Rudra form, Lord Shiva destroys our limitations and paves the path for new creation and spiritual advancement. Abhishek signifies the auspicious bathing of a deity typically with water, milk, ghee, yogurt, and honey. Kanth Garu will perform Rudrabhishekam to the Shiva lingam on Mondays and to the utsava murti of Shirdi Sai Baba on Thursdays.
