Rudra Abhishekam

Mondays and Thursdays, April 1, 4, 8, 11, 15, 18, 22, 25, 29 at 6:30 PM

The power of Shri Rudram has been extolled by saints and sages for hundreds of years. Amma suggested Rudram chanting as a daily practice in the challenging year of 2020. Mondays are dedicated to worshiping Lord Shiva to gain his grace and protection in removing our inner enemies, progressing on the spiritual path, and uplifting plants, animals and mankind. Kanth Swami will conduct a Rudra Abhishekam to the Shiva lingam on Mondays and to the Utsava (Small) murti of Shirdi Sai Baba on Thursdays.

The temple will be closed from Sunday evening, April 7th, at 9 PM and will open again at 5 PM on Monday, April 8, after the eclipse ends.

Ugadi, Vasantha Navarathri & Sri Sitha Rama Kalyanam Celebrations

Vasantha Navrathri is the Nine Nights of Spring when the Divine Mother manifests as Mother Nature providing vegetation, nourishment, shelter, and protection to all creatures, bringing rejuvenation to life on Earth. We celebrate Vasantha Navarathri to welcome and rejoice in the seasonal changes when Nature is at her best.

Worshiping the 9 forms of Shakthi during Vasantha Navarathri brings happiness and prosperity into our lives. Goddess Shakti removes all evil, afflictions, sorrows, and suffering. This festival begins on the Hindu New Year and culminates with Ram Navami on Tuesday, April 16, 2024.

Pournami/ Full Moon Celebration

Tuesday, April 23th at 10:30 Am & 6:00 PM

The full moon time is auspicious to worship Sri Lalitha Devi, the Divine Mother spreading the light of prosperity, health, compassion, and consciousness for her devotees. There is a natural upsurge of energy in the human system around the full moon making it a powerful time for spiritual practices. In the morning Kanth Garu will perform abhishekam to the Sri Chakra.
