The SRIM Center welcomes you to dive into the mystical and transformative world of Vedic fire ceremonies (yagnams) under the auspices of the Divine Mother, Her Holiness Amma Sri Karunamayi. The SRIM Center offered its first Maha Yagnam in 2014 and is the only tour destination with permanent homa kundas / fire pits and they were designed personally by Amma.  

During a yagnam, participants offer ghee, herbs, etc. into a sanctified fire while mantras are chanted, connecting devotees with deities and the blessings they bestow. The benefits of homas / Vedic fire ceremonies offered over 10 days (a maha -great- yagnam) are enormous, compounding and enhancing the purification of the mind, body, soul and surrounding atmosphere. 

Throughout the ages, saints, sages and Gurus have encouraged spiritual aspirants to seek out the company of great beings and make an effort to attain enlightenment by performing spiritual practices, sadhana. That effort has been generously rewarded by the great spiritual masters.

The homa each day will be dedicated for a specific deity/purpose, such as: Ganesha, Subramanya Swami, Nava Graha Shanti & Nakshatra Shanti, Ram Bhagawan & Hanuman,  Gayatri Devi, Saraswati Devi, Lakshmi Devi & Lord Vishnu, Rudra, Sri Lalita Sahasranama, and Chandi.
