Description

Friday, March 8 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 AM (Saturday, March 9)

Maha Shivaratri is a celebration of Lord Shiva, the very source of cosmic energy for the entire creation. On this night, the northern hemisphere of the planet is positioned in such a way that there is a natural upsurge of energy in a human being and nature is pushing everyone towards his/her spiritual peak. One of the fundamentals of this festival is to perform spiritual practices and honor Lord Shiva throughout the night until dawn. Fasting is recommended.
