Vasantha Panchami marks the beginning of spring in the Hindu lunar calendar. This festival also coincides with the birthday of Goddess Saraswathi and thus this day is honored by worshiping Goddess Maha Saaswathi. The spring time brings abundance of light and warmth allowing people to celebrate life. Kanth Swami will do a special Saraswathi puja on this day to welcome springtime.
